Ashley Hicklin was invited to join the "A-Side" EMI Worldwide Song-writing camp, held in the exclusive "Gibson Guitar Studios" (Berlin) during October 2008. Twelve top EMI writers from around the world collaborated on material for major worldwide pop releases and television commercials. Ashley was the only UK representative and was the youngest song-writer present, co-writing and recording 9 new songs in just 7 days! At the end of the week, all the material written was exhibited in a "listening party" for all the EMI A'n'R from around the world.
