it would be great if epiphone broke free from gibson and started making guitars like they used to

rgjmce666 January 31, 2010 at 8:42 pm

epiphone aren’t copies, they are les pauls, les himself said they were

BATHUMAN January 31, 2010 at 10:14 pm

So true. It’s really a shame. Not as bad as those guys that play amazing vintage guitars through Roland Cubes.
-.-

“hello good people! today i will be playing a decent guitar through a p.o.s. practice amp with the gain completely cranked so it sounds just like every other guitar i demo!” oh ya . . . “spanky!” HA!

this guy hasnt got a clue. marty’s ok though. if you want a really good reviewer on youtube, try looking up phil x of fretted americana

BiscuitsJoe February 1, 2010 at 1:49 am

I love his reviews and lessons though. And Marty.

ksammut February 1, 2010 at 2:38 am

haha you made my day!

PKNproductions February 1, 2010 at 2:49 am

no, a bright tone is one which has a lot of that high end sound. as opposed to mellow. Mellow clean tone is common, and that wouldn’t be described as bright.

chicaye90 February 1, 2010 at 3:35 am

hahaha…why does he always say spanky??

BiscuitsJoe February 1, 2010 at 3:39 am

“awesome ok cool so I’ve got this beautiful extremely rare vintage guitar to demo for you people, so I’ll be playing out of this piece of shit solid state practice amp with the gain cranked so you can really hear it’s tonal capabilities.”

69Thrasha69 February 1, 2010 at 4:10 am

your moms rubbish.

Keijz74 February 1, 2010 at 4:45 am

Yes even if you plug it in without any gain or other effect it still has a nice roughness.

crazypianodude44 February 1, 2010 at 4:57 am

Have you noticed that guitar players and reviewers just throw around the word “bright” to desribe any clean tone of any guitar?

ravenmoon456 February 1, 2010 at 5:21 am

Sherwood is a hockey brand :D

101Volts February 1, 2010 at 5:24 am

Sounds kind of like a Tele with that snappy sound in clean. I like that in a guitar.

christopherzberlin February 1, 2010 at 6:13 am
