Nice video! I love hering Sammy play his Pauls! Got quite a few vids of him on here playing them. The Paul he usually uses has the red alien head on it. The chickenfoot logo is nothing more than a peace sign and I believe that’s been the message behind that since the get go.
this was a waste of a signature model. its pretty much just a les paul with a thing on the headstock.

this guys sucks big time as well as gibson managment.
Wow he comes off as a total weirdo. I don’t understand why they’re giving a guy like him a signature, and I understand if he’s a good blues-rock guy, but this Hagar is definitely way more of a vocalist.
And they don’t even give killer players like Craig Ross their own signature model. Sad, it all revolves around fame.

When I was a kid my dad took me to see Sammy. He used Les Pauls and an Explorer. THis was in the early 80′s.
He seems to have veered from Gibson at times but has always been using them.
he just stops in the middle of sentences and says, “i love this guitar”

So… I was just saying that he hasnt always been a Gibson player as he states. He was with Yamaha and Washburn. I mean I like the guy, I just dont understand why he couldnt have said he is happy to be with Gibson now instead of “I’ve always been a Gibson player”, because that simply isnt the case. But if someone gave me a guitar deal I would take it too. No matter what brand it is and I perfer Gibson. So maybe that was the case for Sammy. I dont know.
Yamaha? Washburn? Happy now?

Lets face it, Gibson will make an ‘Inspired by’ for anybody these days. My mum could get one! . Gibson just make gimmick guitars these days, it’s a dreadful shame that there integrity seems to have taken a swan dive. Stay tuned for the Kid Rock ‘Inspired By’ model!!!!
Don’t get me wrong, Hagar has been part of some great albums, but his own f*&@#ng Les Paul. I honestly don’t get. If I’m correct, the last inspired by les Paul was the Joe Bonamassa model and as far as guitar playin’ goes, sammy ain’t shit compared to smokin’ joe!
